Fancy seeing you here Xenpai ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah not really much to say... meh

Why is everything you do 4 stars!? XD Pretty well done and the dense atmosphere really shows. I think this would work better as part of a soundtrack than a piece to listen to for fun, but it really fits the mood well...

It's a polished but bland remix, this is pretty much the opposite of the other one I reviewed, but it still gets the same score...

Well I can certainly say one thing, I've never heard a song like that before and I don't think I ever will again... That was almost indescribable so it's going to be hard to review...

The sudden absolute chaos caught me off-guard and I can barely make out the tune there's so much going on, this had really good breaks, not so much can be said for the drop. While it's cathartic, insane and chaotic it's also atonal, sharp and airy (Yes, apparently that is a real musical term) which is a nightmare combination, this probably would've gotten 5 but I dropped 3 stars because of that.

However the breaks were a blessing upon my ears (+0.5), the piano tune was nice, the squarey synths were smooth but clear and the vocals obviously had a lot of effort put into them (0.5 for a combinaton of all of those things). That's really what saved this, effort (+1). This has so much effort put into it that regardless of quality, I cannot give this any less than 4 without having a guilty conscience...

It's good, just lacking in diversity, needs something more...

Also, what is this made with? I haven't heard these sounds in any MMJ packs, so I assume you used a real DAW, if so, how'd you make that high wub sound 'cause I wanna be able to make it myself on FL studio...

I see, you're using MMJ, don't worry I started out like that too...

nice beat, but not much else to say...

This was a nice surprise as soon as I saw "Dubstep Song" in the unscouted list I was expecting a generic lower than average quality dubstep song, 50% of the time it's that and 50% of the time it's unique but atonal and badly mastered...

This was different, minimalistic dubstep a uncommon genre that almost always sounds unlike any other song, it could've used more variety and those drums could've been harder hitting with less of a tail, but overall this was something new with effective call & response and as generic as they are, almost perfect speaking basses!

Pretty good

The loop kinda overstays its welcome by about a minute in but there's a decent amount of variation, and the loop is effective...

BTW again, just out of curiosity, I'm guessing this is also MMJ... What packs did you use? For once I didn't recognise ANY of those loops...

I used MadTracker 2 to make this.

Ha, now I'M the one giving YOU 3.5 stars >=)< how does it feel?

XD

Being serious though, you obviously thought through what your first upload should be, you've played it very safe, but in this case it's worked! It can only really be described as solid, besides its repetition (but really who am I to complain about that) there are no flaws, not loads of positives either, but more...

- Although it is repeated a lot it's catchy
- Nice Ostinato
- It's fast paced
- Nice shir- I mean percussion...

So a pretty good basic song I imagine this'd be a really good kinda template you could maybe use at a later time, this'd be really easy to remaster, but give yourself some months to learn beforehand...

Questions I have:
What Music making software are you using? FLS?
Why did you put dubstep as a tag?
Would you be alright with me doing a remix of this if I left a link to the original in the decription? If so, PM me... Also you'll have to tell me the notes if it's a yes, I'm not Beethoven...

Pretty good tune it repeats but this whole song feels empty, it has an awesome ostinato (is it still an ostinato if it's sung? Screw it, I'm saying it anyway) and this clearly has good effects but I think at the very least this needed a bassline throughout to fill in the gaps...

The drop always just hurts my ears or sounds dull, I'm really sorry I sound like I'm panning you but The few flaws this has are very big and hard not to explain in a non-critical way... It wasn't intense, it was empty and the only times it was loud it was high and atonal...

This would be a 1.5 star for these reasons but the ostinato itself, while it was repeated WAY TOO MUCH was awesome enough to get 2 stars!

I make Dubstep.
